Yes. Cllr Richard Stephenson put their name to it on 12 October 2026: "Zionism is not racism. I call on the Green Party to reverse its "Zionism is Racism" motion." In their own words: "Whilst I have every sympathy with the Palestinian people and have visited refugee communities in Palestine on a number of occasions - attacks on Isreal and Jewish people are not the solution they are part of the problem. I am horrified by the resolution passed at the "Green" conference and call on every honest and self respecting member of the Green Party to disassociate themselves from this horrendous motion which is so threatening to the Jewish community."

On 4 October 2026 the Green Party of England and Wales passed a motion declaring that "Zionism is racism". It brands as racism the belief, held by around nine in ten British Jews, that the Jewish people have the right to a homeland of their own, and binds the party to treat that belief "as any other form of racism". Councillors and MPs of every other party are being asked to say, in public, that Zionism is not racism.
