Croydon's only Synagogue is in my ward Shirley North. Many members of Croydon's Jewish community also live in my ward. Because of this I feel that it is very important to fight Antisemitism in all its forms. I'm also a Zionist and support Israel wholeheartedly. It's very worrying that the Greens have embraced this evil. I hope all Councillors will support this statement.

On 4 October 2026 the Green Party of England and Wales passed a motion declaring that "Zionism is racism".
